Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our IT Department for a full-time, permanent role. This role requires a dynamic individual who is creating, managing, organizing and preserving important company documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage library of firm’s client facing documents;
  • Elicit document requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process analysis, use cases or user stories, task and workflow analysis;
  • Work closely with IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing to arrive at document requirements;
  • Contribute to firm’s migration from paper workflow to digital workflow;
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education/certification in business-related or technical disciplines; 
  • Solid understanding of Adobe Acrobat (specifically fillable forms creation/editing, optimization, PDF formats);
  • Comfortable with basic image editing software (Photoshop or similar, Paint.NET, etc.);
  • Minimum 3 years experience with MS Office applications; 
  • Business analysis experience is desirable;
  • Experience with Docusign;
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, extremely detail oriented;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to grasp abstract concepts;
  • Highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment, with the ability to set and meet deadlines while working on multiple projects at a time;
  • Experience with Dataphile is an asset;
  • French language is an asset;
  • Graphic design is an asset.
