Overview of Role: 
As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in helping us to visualize the CGWM brand in line with the global brand guidelines. You will be responsible for designing on a variety of creative projects across multiple channels. This role will require you to work on existing materials as well as creating individual print and online projects from scratch, supporting the CGWM North American Marketing teams in executing their visual identities consistently across projects and to develop cohesive campaigns.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a strong multi-tasker, a creative thinker and exhibit a true entrepreneurial spirit.  In addition, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills, as you will be required to build strong partnerships with CGWM Investment Advisors and their teams.

Responsibilities: 
  • Create digital designs across different platforms including website; email; organic and paid social assets; and internal communications ensuring brand consistency throughout;
  • Conceptualize and design solutions with high visual impact for brochures, one-pagers, events, promotional materials, video graphics, emails and white papers;
  • Support the CGWM Marketing team in the development and production of design:
    • Ensue the brands are executed consistently across all channels;
    • Create graphics for marketing emails, videos and existing material using Adobe CS;
    • Support implementation of digital strategy and supporting online resources;
    • Manage image database including image rights as necessary;
  • Ensure the CGWM visual identity is maintained in its execution for CGWM sub-brands for the CGWM Advisors;
  • Liaise with approved external suppliers to deliver objectives and best value for CGWM specifically for the procurement of print and imagery.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years experience creating digital designs for various platforms and social channels;
  • Organized with excellent time-management and project management skills;
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment;
  • Up-to-date on digital design best practices;
  • Strong graphic design foundation skills in typography and layout; illustration skill is a bonus;
  • Exceptional visual storytelling skills, able to communicate through design and engage audience; 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and visual);
  • Presentation design experience is not required, but is nice to have;
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign);
  • Bachelor’s degree, or College Diploma in Design / Fine Arts or related field.

Bonus:
  • Experienced creating motion graphics, video and audio editing;
  • 2D animation skills.
