Overview of Role:
  • The Marketing Writer is newly created role reporting to the Brand Experience Lead.  This position will lead all corporate storytelling across multiple touchpoint including (but not limited to); internal email communications, external long form opinion articles and social posts, internal website copy, written copy within internal app and planning tools.
  • Lead all longer-form ‘storytelling’ and communication for the brand, including defining the tonality and language-style we speak in with different stakeholder groups;
  • Write both short and long-form pieces for CG’s website, email, and social media for the purposes of engagement and elevation of our brand;
  • Calibrate writing across a range of mediums - landing pages, presentations, fact sheets, emails, paid social media, blogs, and long-form thought leadership to enhance interaction;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups in the organization to imagine and capture their vision and translate this into clear and concise communications to relevant stakeholders;
  • Provides support to Senior management in preparing talking points, key messages, or presentations for major internal and external industry events and conferences.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years professional writing and/or editorial experience;
  • BA/S or equivalent in related field required – English, journalism, or communications;
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills a must;
  • Experience simplifying complex technical concepts for general audience segment;
  • Ability to handle a high volume of deliverables simultaneously without compromising quality or missing deadlines;
  • Understands storytelling and marketing copywriting trends across varied media types;
  • Strong organizational ability and attention to detail;
  • Excellent creativity and proven ability to develop original content;
