Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for a motivated, ambitious team player, who is passionate about social media and digital marketing to join our team and play an integral role in our ongoing digital marketing strategy. The Associate, Digital Marketing will bring their valued skills in the areas of digital advertising, social media, vendor relations and communications. The Marketing department supports the national and local business development initiatives of the Canadian wealth management business. The team works closely with all departments to help deliver best-in-class solutions and services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
 
  • Assist with the support and development of both corporate and Investment Advisor’s social media campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter;
  • Work on various digital marketing projects to support Investment Advisors across multiple channels and touchpoints;
  • Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations and ensure best practices around optimizing website and social media channels;
  • Maintain digital dashboards of website and social media accounts;
  • Provide ongoing updates to Canadian Wealth Management website;
  • Make recommendations to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Oversee Investment Advisor websites;
  • Manage ongoing relationships with digital vendors;
  • Setup and deployment of email marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud;
  • Advise internal stakeholders on using web-based tools and support of tool enhancements, issues and escalations related to the digital marketing portfolio;
  • Collaborate with team members, external vendors and Investment Advisors to produce marketing materials (e.g. websites, advertisements, campaigns);
  • Provide research as requested to help build national and local marketing plans;
  • Collaborate with key parties to ensure swift turnaround of marketing approvals;
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and champion innovative and creative strategies.

Skills & Qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, or related field;
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing communications development and implementation; including online advertising and promotion, email and search marketing and digital creative campaign optimization;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics);
  • Proven experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns;
  • Experience in creating and optimizing landing pages and user funnels;
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud;
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, fluency in French is an asset;
  • Digital marketing experience within a fast-paced, professional environment with a preference for the financial/investment industry specifically;
  • Strong interpersonal skills to consult, influence and collaborate with colleagues across levels and business groups;
  • Takes initiative and recommends process improvements, solution oriented;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple streams of work within tight deadlines.
