Canaccord Genuity is seeking a qualified sales representative as a Cash Management associate to work in our downtown Vancouver office.
This position demands a blend of talent, sales experience and well-developed interpersonal skills. Working closely with a team of sixteen finance professionals in an open office environment, you will be provided with mentoring and training to ensure you fully understand the way our business is conducted. You have a strong work ethic and positive attitude that contributes to growing our business at a fast (but manageable) pace. This is a full time position out of our downtown Vancouver office.

Initiate leads and follow up on sales calls to prospective clients;
Deliver in-person presentations to prospective clients;
Identify opportunities to increase revenue and streamline efficiencies;
Work closely with our two operations associates as they assist you in opening new accounts;
Maintenance of client relationship;
Monthly reporting to the team; and
Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
An undergraduate degree;
CSC (Canadian Securities Course) completed;
A minimum of 5+ years of direct sales-related work experience;
Ability to travel within Canada as required;
Willing and eager to make cold calls;
High level of professionalism;
Excellent proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel;
Sharp attention to detail;
Adept to desktop and mobile technologies such as WhatsApp, Skype, Google Drive, Box, Evernote, Salesforce, LinkedIn and Twitter;
Experience with rejection in sales;
Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic, oftentimes loud, fast-paced, open office environment;
Superior interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues;
Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up;
Excellent telephone demeanor;
Ability to learn quickly and make sound, timely decisions;
Team player attitude and able to “think outside the box”;
Able to present a polished appearance in a formal business environment;
Second or multiple language (French proficiency would be considered an asset);
Experienced with the use of CRM, especially Salesforce will be considered an asset.
