Our Canadian operations are currently looking for an organized Portfolio Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Manager, Fee Based Operations the Portfolio Administrator is primarily responsible for administering Canaccord Genuity’s discretionary and non-discretionary fee based programs. Business hours for the Fee Based Operations group are 6:00 am – 2:00 pm PST. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Perform client and account administration for all fee based programs;
  • Serve as point of contact for program related questions;
  • Manage issue resolution, or escalations as required;
  • Provide onboarding and support of internal and external Portfolio Managers;
  • Model portfolios for order execution;
  • Enter orders to market or trade desk;
  • Perform trade allocation;
  • Perform daily reconciliations;
  • Calculate and process management fees;
  • Participate in quarterly statement, year-end, billing and other reporting production;
  • Perform cross-training and complete special projects as required. 


Skills & Qualifications
 

  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar role;
  • Completion of CSC and CPH, CFA charter or enrolment in the CFA program an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work independently;
  • Ability to work under extreme pressure and meet strict deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment;
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Experience with Dataphile, Advent – APX and Moxy an asset.
