Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for a Mutual Fund Administrator to join our team.  Reporting to the Manager, Mutual Funds & Portfolio Operations, the Mutual Fund Administrator is responsible for processing various mutual fund transactions and effectively communicating with Investment Advisors and external fund contacts.
 
Responsibilities
  •  Process mutual fund orders and commission transactions with a high level of accuracy;
  • Analyze order rejections and communicate back to Investment Advisors and fund manufacturers;
  • Submit systematic plan requests to fund companies;
  • Manage fund disclosure document delivery failures;
  • Perform various account reconciliations;
  • Update late fund prices on a monthly basis. 


Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of previous experience in a similar finance or accountancy role;
  • Very strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Proactive, with excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work independently;
  • Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast paced environment;
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Experience with Dataphile and FundSERV an asset.
